Steve is a founding partner of Springboard Search Group. Steve takes a consultative approach to recruiting, guiding candidates through the entire life-cycle of their job search, serving as both sherpa and sounding board. He recognizes that every candidate has unique motivations for undertaking a search and he works tirelessly to help them find opportunities that will enable them to achieve their professional goals.
Steve places a great deal of emphasis on helping candidates through the search process: From gathering as much information as possible about a candidate’s background; to leveraging the relationships he’s built at companies and law firms to help them secure interviews. During the interview stage, preparing candidates for their meetings is key, which helps minimize their stress and enables them to perform at their best. Steve also works corroboratively to negotiate terms of an offer and, should they decide to accept, to navigate their departures from their current firms.
Some recent in-house placements include: a mid-level corporate associate at a major sports league; a junior corporate associate at a pre-IPO biopharmaceutical company; an experienced corporate lawyer as the GC of a family office; and a mid-level litigator at a global healthcare company. Steve’s law firm placements range from elite boutiques to full-service mid-size firms to the country’s most prestigious large law firms. His reputation has lead to Steve being frequently entrusted with exclusive searches, which benefit both the client and the candidates who work with him.
